This morning I cycled from home to Waterloo (by which time it was 10 o'clock so I gave up and got on tube so I wouldn't be even more late!)... I sometimes cycle from Bath to Bristol n vice versa. Exercise does make u really happy doesn't it. I get to cycle down the avon which is v pleasant. Piece of advice. Eat good slow release carbs before u leave (porridge or something) drink lots of water on the way, eat banana when u arrive to stave off the hunger.

I was tempted to get the bike out tomorrow. Its around 12-15 miles from home to work and I've done the route once before (for London Freewheel) but not sure I'd be confident doing it by myself.
Not to mention the fact that there's one big hill to conquer at Neasden!!

I used to cycle to my old workplace but that was a lot closer of course. It is a great way to unwind after work and blow away all the cobwebs! :-)

Yes that's the trouble with exercise! I'm worried about what will happen when I start swimming after work. I will certainly not be able to stave off the appetite long enough to make dinner then (not that it's terribly easy even now, haha!).
