This is painful to read, and I am _dying_ to know how it turns out--in fact if I had stopped to observe that it was in progress, I might not have been able to bring myself to read it. It's lovely, too: one of the things I like about the series, which you have captured beautifully, is how much everyone cares about each other and how bad they are at giving or accepting that love. The sentence in which Sherlock thinks that, if he thinks hard enough, he might be able to imagine the feeling of being in love with John is absolutely heartbreaking

Despite the flippant dialogue, apparent disregard for other people and moody lighting, I've always felt that there are some really caring relationships at the foundations of these characters. I'm incredibly pleased that's come across.

I'm so very sorry you apparently never got to ending this wonderful fic. I read it back in september and loved it straight away. It's well-written, the psychology is spot-on and the pace just right. You will really have to finish this. Please!!!
BTW I loved the other fics as well.
