Sometimes, Hana wonders why she's here, or why she has the name of "Zinger." Why does she live under a roof with three other girls and rely on a cleaning ahjumma to keep their lives in order and a manager to be the one that takes them to their schedules. Sometimes, when the world is hazy and she forgets what it's like to be alive, really alive, where you make your own choices and eat whatever you want.
Sometimes she thinks she can't do it, live the way idols do, because she still doesn't think of herself as an idol. Her mom's words ring in her ears about how hard it is, how much she has to give up for all of this fame and fortune. But then she looks at Hyosung, so humble and cute and yet trying hard to be a leader, constantly looking out for them. Its the smile, that makes her change her mind. It's the way their eyes meet and that smile appears on Hyosung's face so easily that makes Hana's breath stop.
It's the smile, the warm hand trailing against hers, that makes Hana realize--being a singer is more than worth all of this.
