Sorry to hear about your former friend not taking all that great of care of the Supra you put under their care, hopefully with time you can mend that friendship

As to your future plans those sound pretty good, I hope your able to find a decent Corolla hatchback with a manual transmission at a decent price. Something that is reliable and does not end up becoming a project car.

Have fun with your MR2 (reminds me of the Porsche Boxter)

The MR2 sounds like the sort of vehicle that might be kinda fun to push on some of those mountain passes (so long as you do not lose your momentum getting stuck behind a motorhome or some assclown.
