Although they only met by chance, Koi was a godsend for Kurayami. His peaceful, calming presence reassures her, and (more practically) he helped her get her first job, working at the tea shop with him.

Kagerou (Orihime) ¤ weaver_girl ¤ acquaintance
The buoyant, sunny kindness that Kagerou shows those around her is a very healthy dose of light for Kurayami's shadows. She overwhelms her a little bit with her helpfulness, which Kurayami feels she's neither earned nor (on a subconscious level) deserves, but makes it all better simply by being so genuinely friendly. Also, she's great at adjusting shirts to fit her wings.
Pings: Her sheer goodness is starting to ping her for Kuramori.
Lea (Axel) ¤ seeya_next_life ¤ scribble buddy
Having made a strong first impression with his goofy doodles masterful artistic talent, Lea got himself indelibly memorized by rescuing Kurayami from the Bazaar massacre, nearly killing her with a Heartless portal, then standing vigil by her bedside until she woke up. Somehow, this all evened out to something like the beginnings of a friendship. They have a disturbing number of things in common, though not all are what you might call "good", and she's grown to trust him as he's sat for her.
Pings: Hyoko, more and more, though his kindness still reminds her of Kuramori.
Apple (Cooro) ¤ crowsloveapples ¤ bouncing bundle of pings joy
From the moment she first read one of his entries, Apple has jangled every forgotten bell in Kurayami's head at once, every time his childish scrawl appears in her journal. It didn't help that a certain someone's stick figure drawing of him had white wings. Since being assigned to him during the Masters & Apprentices event, she's become very fond of her little teacher.

Qǐ (River) ¤ enchainement ¤ scribble buddy
The first person in the Sphere to make a spontaneous overture of friendship to Kurayami, Qǐ both charms and perplexes Kurayami. She isn't sure what to make of her, but she likes her. (The same goes for her taste in notebooks.)

Rabbit (Lavi) ¤ redhead_rabbit ¤ village derp
Kurayami made the acquaintance of Rabbit's boxer shorts before she met the boy himself, thanks to a mishap in the Damsels event. That said, and the pink frilly first impression aside, he makes her smile and she enjoys teasing him. Recently she's discovered a surprising rebellious streak in him--and he's gotten her addicted to donuts. Oops.

Rogue (Wedge) ¤ desig_survivor ¤ acquaintance
Friendly enough over the journals, Rogue somehow managed to run Kurayami's defenses like a Death Star trench in person, easily bringing out her friendly side. Maybe it was the way he didn't ask too many questions. It helped that he set her up with a workshop where she can be alone and paint, two important pastimes for her. Losing him left her badly shaken.

Cloud (Ginko) ¤ iattractmushi ¤ customer
Something about Cloud has made Kurayami uncomfortable ever since he first commented to one of her journal entries. She can't put her finger on what, and feels guilty for such a baseless uneasiness, especially since he's so polite. Truth is, they're alike in an awkward way; their mutual closemouthed natures make it hard to hold a conversation.

Smoke (Gojyo) ¤ inthecenterfold ¤ shameless flirt
In an odd coincidence, thanks to Lea, Kurayami had drawn Smoke before she'd ever met him. Meeting him was memorable, though--he came on strong from the get-go and has never stopped. She really isn't sure what to make of his blatant interest (she isn't even convinced that it should be assigned the adjective "romantic"), but he's a good model and she enjoys his banter on some level in spite of herself.

Handmaiden (Brianna) ¤ ice_echani ¤ customer and rescuer
Although she often sees Handmaiden at the tea shop, Kurayami didn't feel like she'd really met the woman until the unfortunate elevator incident that stranded her in the wilderness. She's impressed by her stoic solemnity and appreciates having been rescued, but still feels a little uncomfortable around the woman.

The circumstances of Kurayami's first meeting with Spear were not pleasant. Silent Hillderness notwithstanding, though, she came away with a solid respect for the woman(?)'s ability to handle herself in a fight.

Allen (Allen) ¤ crownofsnow ¤ greeter
The first face she saw on arriving in Edensphere. Allen seemed genuinely kind and friendly, but she's very aware that he was just doing his job. His loss was the first of the great rash of vanishings to really shake her up, personally.

Zombie (Haine) ¤ fewterer ¤ murderer
The fleeting impression Kurayami got of Zombie lasted maybe half a second. She never even got a clear look at him, though she heard the gunshots. The chaos he was sowing, and the bullet in her wing, were more than enough to cement her opinion of him, though. Whatever her doubts about herself, she now knows it could be worse.

Amarui (Senri) ¤ hanakioku ¤ quiet presence
Amarui's entries, though rare, always catch Kurayami's eye. He's not quite like anyone else in the Sphere, and she likes his quiet gentleness. They have a common interest, as well: worrying over Apple.

Simon (Simon) ¤ pompoustoday ¤ word from the wise
Though she was first only aware of him as Qi's beloved brother, Kurayami has become gradually more aware of Simon's identity as one of the few true rebels against the Tree. Since directly consulting with him over the journals, she's quietly begun to think of him as a role model with a sensible head on his shoulders.

She can't help noticing Sniper's art, though she knows next to nothing about him. He's good, and that piques her curiosity.

Something about these three makes Kurayami's heart hurt. She'd never admit to herself why, even if she knew.

Thoroughly unimpressed with her first impression of Prince, Kurayami never saw much on the journals to change her mind. It didn't help that he mistook her for a man (which she didn't notice) and was therefore on his worst behavior (which she definitely noticed) while talking to her.
