[phone - morning]

Is everyone in this town completely stupid? Because if there are masses and masses of us saying 'uh, I'm not gone, I'm still here, this is the real me,' won't you all eventually figure out that the town is playing some kinda shit game with you?

[There's a pause.]

That said...I doubt there's a lot of people out there whose panties'll ( Read more... )

[Another construct is trying to make the still sentient residents believe that there have been in fact no replacements. It is frustrating, to say the least.]

The more you talk, the less convincing you sound.

[This is an interesting development. It is lending more support toward the "cloaking effect" hypothesis. She will have to ask more of the "cloaked" people to try to confirm it.]

[She is quickly jotting down the hypothesis and evidence in her notebook. She wants to have some way to remember this later, even after the town messes with her memories.]

Do you know of any way to undo this effect? Or anyone who might be able to do this?

[Perhaps she should ask Tohsaka...if she can remember what Tohsaka looks like.]

If I did, I would have done it already.

So there is no way to reverse this effect as of yet...

[If the cloaking theory proved true, then this would have to be one thing that she needs to investigate.]

How about a way to reverse the memory loss?

Listen, lady. I'm not a witch. I don't know anything about spells or reversals or anything like that. If you want specific answers, go to Kirisame or Knowledge.

I see. I will have to ask them about it then. Right now, I don't know whether or not I should believe you. I will have to gather more evidence to accept or reject your theory.

[Still, it seems to contain fewer logical paradoxes than the original theory.]

You can't really miss me, in person at least. That's good enough.

I meant for "Kirisame" or "Knowledge."

...Though your contact information might be good too. Perhaps I will need to speak to you again.

Oh. Figures. Eh. Marisa Kirisame and Patchouli Knowledge. Dunno where they live, but Knowledge tends to stay inside. And Kirisame's always flying around on her broom. Looks like a witch, that's for sure.

[A witch? She has never encountered real witches before. She wonders if the "witch's" magecraft is actually witchcraft or something else.]

I understand. Thank you for the information...

[She looks down at her hastily scribbled notes.]

Miss Fujiwara.
