1. That video is lovely. I really enjoyed it. And I love Middle Eastern pop music, though I'm not familiar with anything specific. I just like the sound of it.
2. That was cartoon violence at best. And how about how violent he got with the guy in the car? Please. I'm uncomfortable with violence in general but a) there were sound effects! and b)violence against the oppressor is an historical rallying cry, and there's nothing wrong with that.
This was cartoon violence for heaven's sake, like Bugs Bunny, and gee, don't we all fantasize about dropping an anvil on someone near and dear now and then? Gods knows I do! I even hear the sound effects in my head while daydreaming.
She's really a darling young woman. Cute as can be!
I cant understand a word of that song. Well, no, I can pick up words here and there... anyway; I love that video. It's adorable. It's not even like mean violence, it's just enough to say "uh, quit being a sleeze. thanks."
It's been nearly five years since I left, but I grew up and did all my k-12 in a high arabic-speaking (Chaldean) area so I learned bits and pieces. Not enough to converse, unfortunately.
I looked up the lyrics, and shes talking about how her boyfriend tries to make her jealous, and why does he do that when she gets SUPER jealous and crazy? And why can't she be with someone who doesn't play games.
