Jaejoong wants kissing at green lights with cars honking behind them because they just don’t give a fuck about anything in the world but the two of them. He wants fights so loud they make streets crack and windows shatter and have him thinking he might just break but he -- doesn’t. He wants someone holding his hand so tight it leaves imprints on his skin and mind and soul.
He wants someone who can live without him, but chooses not to.
If it’s an accident why are we still dancing, Jaejoong thinks. He’s joined Yunho on the right, clumsy copies of his footwork and a quick throw of arms to catch himself when he trips. Yunho’s been moving to the empty room since the sun started to sink.
Yunho’s body is loose, fluid, but his eyes burn concentration. He’s smiling easy. Jaejoong nearly bumps into him when he stops.
I’d fall in love with you just to see you like this. He catches Yunho’s hand, the callused palm firm against his smooth skin. “You stopped.”
“For a moment.” Yunho says. The room’s silent amidst his struggle to regain breath. Jaejoong didn’t realize there was no music playing. “What were you dancing to?” he asks, surprised.
There’s a trickle of sweat on Yunho’s jaw. Jaejoong reaches to wipe it off, ignores the way Yunho’s eyes follow him. “Nevermind. It should be a secret.”
“Go to bed.” Yunho says. There’s something soft in his tone - there always is, when it’s quiet like this and Jaejoong’s close like this. A smile. “But I'm waiting for you.”
Yunho wants waking up in the early morning with bodies folded tight against each other, hearts beating and hands moving together in easy resonance. He wants simple days in simple towns with simple dreams. He wants to kiss stalemates from tired tongues and worries from broken hearts and say “You’re too much for me.”
You’re the one for me.
