Okay, this is glorious and I'd like more of it, please and thank you.

There's just, there's so much sarcasm, snark, bitching, anger and pain and issues that simmer just below the surface between these two. With Snaf it's all in the eyes, with Joe it's the face and body language, with both of them it's vocal inflections and damn it, you're going to make me go and ship these two pretty damn hard now, aren't you?

i have to admit, this pairing is starting to take up a bit of my headspace, so there definitely is a possibility there'll be more.

they've always struck me as this pairing that would be so beautiful and broken all at once -- all charged with anger and pain, simmering beneath everything (because they're the two who strike me as ones who had hard lives/didn't learn the greatest of coping skills even before the war; which leaves them in an especially difficult place after the war) -- but with a ...hm, it's like, even though they're bitching and sarcastic and rough, there's still an edge of softness underneath, like they don't really want to hurt anyone/each other, and there's a sad vulnerability and little last touch of innocence in that that just makes the pairing even more fascinating. AND PLUS, THEY'RE SO PRETTY TOGETHER, all skinny limbs and tension coiled tight in their bodies. and the sexual chemistry IS FABULOUS.

it is, it is. AND THEY ARE BOTH TOTAL CREEPERS, OKAY. (and would probably be like. THE WORST NEIGHBORS TO HAVE, EVER.)

aksdja yes. AND MORE YES. haha, seriously, i don't even know x-men but now because of you and rivlee i want this so bad.

also, let's see, uniformly has mentioned Skip/Runner, WHICH I THINK WOULD BE TOTALLY ADORABLE AND CUTE. and um. I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER CROSSOVER PAIRINGS THAT HAVE BEEN TOSSED AROUND THAT WOULD BE AMAZING EVEN IF I CAN'T REMEMBER THEM RIGHT NOW. and they're all technically plausible in canon - same timeframe, same military, same country post-war!

also stalking your lj a little, NOTICING YOUR LOVELY ART-ING SKILLS, and ...trying to telepathically coerce you into drawing snafgott. is it working.

they really would be rather dysfunctional and insane, but there's so much complexity to it - and some tenderness wrapped up in all the bitchiness/demons they have/etc - that really draws me in. AND THEY'RE QUITE SEXY, no? xD
