I just want to draw all the hearts in the world around the Burgie and Snafu bromance in this fic. I adore it, so much, it makes me all smiley and happy.

I love how you've got those little bits of canon tied up in here, like Peck and the naked pictures, Sledge covering for Snafu, SID AND MARY HOUSTON. It's just so effortlessly done and flawless. Not to mention Sledge's forever hero worship of Haldane. (And Burgie and Florence, my heart.)

I adore this fic of yours. All the smiles in the world here.

And considering you're the biggest enabler to ever enable, I think the cause comes back to you anyway..

BEST THING TO WAKE UP TO EVER.

Oh, god. I love all the character interactions, their reasons for being there. THE FACT THAT YOU INCLUDED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Penk! Hamm! Oswalt! Bill Leyden! Everyone. I'm kind of in love with your Eddie and Andy as well (and of course they're the only teachers worth shit, oh Snaf).

And I love all the little references to canon you snuck in, and how easily to translated them to totally believable in-verse circumstances.

THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME OF THE BRILLIANCE THAT IS TEAM SLEDGE. Sometimes I feel like I forgot them because I'm so enamoured with Team Leckie, LOL

So, for the record, I totally read this as soon as it popped up on my f-list, then procrastinated like a pro when it came to the commenting. I am just about the worst person ever at comments, to the point at which it occasionally causes minor diplomatic incidents.

At any rate: this is lovely! All your fic, happy or sad, has this really nice feel to it, something I can't quite pin down. It just flows easily and it's often quite soothing, somehow, even when the subjects under discussion are quite dark.

Also, all the characters are adorable and I love how many of them you've worked in. Andy and Eddie, competent dads as usual - Oswalt being adorable - PECK WANTS TO BE A ROCK - the whole thing just made me smile. It's a shame it's just a one-shot, because I'd love to see more snippets from this 'verse. But if not that, more Team Sledge ensemble fic? You seem to have a way with them.

fdfd about to go nap and opened the comp to turn it off, BUT. MUST TELL YOU 'CAUSE I THINK YOU'D ENJOY IT --- the guys roughhousing when sledge is walking through the hall? totally team!leckie cameo.

they're there because they, uh, ditched gym too much and didn't pass it, and are now forced to take summer school p.e. or they won't graduate. LECKIE DIDN'T GET ALONG WITH HIS GYM TEACHER LARKIN? he didn't get on with corrigan either. LECKIE YOUR PROBLEMS WITH MALE!AUTHORITY ARE SHOWING and hoosier'd just rather ditch and go smoke --- ironically, runner was on the track team, BUT CHUCKLER WAS DITCHING, WHAT WAS HE GOING TO DO, HE COULDN'T NOT FOLLOW HIM. (gibson is the only one who passed gym. they never remembered to tell him they were ditching because they kind of forget he's there, so he gets to gym and he's like ....uh, guys. guys? and has been seen by the teacher so he can't leave, lmao.) (he still seriously considered going to summer school just because they're all be there ( ... )
