“Well, Kim played the Joey card on me, you?”
“Faith needs to stop hassling me about the Thanksgiving mess, like it was my fault.”
“Why do we let them do this to us?”
“At least you’re Santa, red’s a good color on you”
“You’re shorter, you had to be the elf, and it’s not that bad.”
“I’m in tights, green tights…could it be worse?”
“At least you’re my elf.”
“That’s an up side?”
“You like being mine”
“Yeah in bed not in front of half the Precinct.”
“Well, we do have the suits all night”

“Score, and that makes it 9-7 Bobby boy, I thought you said you could play this game,” Jimmy joked as he threw the ball at Bobby.
“Oh I know how to play the game. Beating you is just sweeter when you think you’re winning Doherty,” Bobby answered as he dribbled past Jimmy to land a shot, “that’s 8-9, this game is going to be mine.” Then coming close Bobby pressed the ball against Jimmy’s chest leaning in close to whisper into the firefighter’s ear, “and so are you.”
Jimmy just grinned as he dribbled the ball a couple of time looking for a opening, “I think you have that a little backwards there Bobby on both counts,” Jimmy dived forward to make a basket.
Only he didn’t make it as Bobby stole the ball from his arms before swinging around Jimmy and landing his own basket, “9-9, sure I’m wrong there?” Bobby smirked as he tossed the ball back.
“You’re so going to get it tonight,” Jimmy said as he ready to make his move.
“I already have it all planned out, I hope you like wax,” Bobby said just as Jimmy moved to past him. Bobby took the opportunity to steal the ball again when Jimmy hesitated at the mention of wax. "10-9 and game. All mine."

I swear to God some days it feels like I’ve got four kids and not two and Emily and Charlie are the most grown up of them, at least they listen and mind most of the time. But Fred and Bosco, Fred just wants to play around and have fun, I’m the one that had to deal with the problems, I’m the one that have to tell the kids no, he’s never the bad guy and that sucks. Not that Bosco is any better, always running off half-cocked and shooting off his mouth, every shift I swear he finds a new way to get us in trouble with the Sergeant, and at least Charlie knows you don’t find Eskimos in the damn Himalayas.
