The Distance AKA when the show forgot that Ryan was 16 and when Luke came back

Aug 04, 2011 22:16

So it’s been a few months since I finished season one and season two had been one of my summer goals but…now way am I getting it all done in the next month but I have no started it. So on with the Luke, because there is a lot of Luke in the recap.

Previous Part
First lets start with construction as it’s the theme of the episode.

The Cohen home

It’s being worked on by men that wear no shirts

Ever, I feel this should violate some OSHA regulations or something.
Not as much as Ryan, a 16 year old working construction does

But then the show seems to have forgotten he is 16 for the moment given he lives with Theresa

Even takes the trash out

An sleeps in the same bed with her

I mean really?

Well the real plot of the episode centers around neither Ryan or Seth being at home. Well Sandy wants to do something about that so he goes to see Ryan

and gives him a plane ticket to see Seth who is in Portland with Luke

Yes Seth ran to Luke when Ryan left. This is why I call OT3 (see icon) on them.
Seth is working with Luke

As he draws Summer

And lives with Luke and his father

They really are a couple.

Anyways Sandy comes to see Seth first

And it goes so well

So in the end Sandy said he’ll back Seth up with Kirsten about him staying in Portland

Then it’s queue Sandy’s plan B

Ryan

Luke and Seth are surprised

And they are together again

I did warn you about the extra Luke photos (wait until the end) but on with the plot
So Ryan talks with Seth

Seth will only come back if Ryan does. But he has a baby with Theresa so can’t
Then Ryan gets a call from Theresa

Who lost the baby (really she didn’t but she did realized Ryan doesn’t love her)

He tells the guys

Seth and Ryan bond

Then when Ryan’s about to leave

He and Seth have this idea. So home together (sadly they don’t bring Luke)

Back at home Kirsten is not happy with Sandy, She wanted the boys home.

And then she gets her wish

This is her happy face

She isn’t letting them go anywhere again

Then Ryan goes back into the pool house

And all is right with the world, for the moment

And now for those Luke photos I didn’t use in the recap

More Luke just being Luke

With his great hair

And play games with his boyfriends

I love that both Seth and Ryan feel the need to watch him out of the corner of their eyes

And one last photo
