The father knows best aka the one where Caleb doesn’t adopted anyone

You know I really should have gotten more of these done this week. But anyways here we are again almost to mid-season and a number of plots are nearing their climax, and others are just warming up.

Previous Part

So this one like most of them have three main plots (is that a standard thing for hour long shows?), Lindsay and her drama, Seth/Summer/Zach stuff, and the Sandy/Kirsten problem.

First off on the Sandy/Kirsten, I haven’t does much about it because I don’t like it for the most part

Sandy’s in the dog house and he should be. I’m with Kirsten on this one all the way. Sandy messed up big time, he got into things (all work no sex at all) with the ex love of his life and didn’t tell Kirsten, then spent V-day with his ex over Kirsten. He’s just messing up all the way around. I love Sandy but sometimes he’s rather dumb.

Next up we have the Seth/Summer/Zach mess

And for Seth I do mean mess. He can’t give over wondering if Zach and Summer have had sex and so he can’t sleep or eat and Ryan’s trying to take care of him and it’s so cute it really is.

But Seth can’t leave it alone so he asks Zach if they had sex…Zach is properly outraged

As is Summer when she finds out. But she also understands Seth so she answers the question, and tell him they didn’t

He’s happy again all his troubles are gone

And he can eat again. Sadly this is when Zach tells Seth he’s(Zach) is the reason they didn’t have sex, Zach wants to wait until he’s married, Summer was all for it and that’s not the way Seth wanted it. One the plus side Zach is now okay with sex if it’s with the right women (Summer) and place (Italy) and Seth really didn’t want to hear that.

Last main plot line we have the Lindsay deal.

And really it all comes down to Caleb is thinking about adopting her but

Then Julie Copper- Nichol shows us why she’s Queen Bitch of Newport. With just two five minutes conversations not only did she derail the adoption she got Lindsay to fight with Caleb, her mother and Ryan; got Caleb into problems with Lindsay, Sandy, and as soon as she finds out Kirsten; and she turned Caleb’s I’m adopting Lindsay party into the launch for her Newport Living Magazine. And this is the woman Ryan stood up against? Got Luke to stand up against (Marissa’s hospital stay)? Julie is good at being the adversary.

So none of the guys are doing very well right now in their love lives, two of which could be solved if Ryan just asked Seth out really.

One last thing

Highschool shows one of the rare times when reusing extra’s works and works well.
