The year really is coming to a close and that means prom time, one last party before high schools out.
Previous Part So this episode is all about prom and that means dates.
And everyone has one
Marissa asked Volchok, and he said yes
Seth asked Summer but she said no
And sent the napkin to his parents
Which mean Seth had to go with Anna who is trying to get Seth and Summer back together
And Taylor talks Summer into taking some Kpop guy
But everyone does get dresses up which is nice
Ryan and Volchok even seem like they’re making peace with each other
But then he steals the after party money
And Ryan goes and gets it back
And old Ryan comes out. And this I think was the point of it all. Ryan has changed, Theresa even comments on it. He has more control over himself then he use to have. He’s stopped himself from getting into fights when he didn’t have to, he’s found other ways of dealing with his problems. With one key exception, Marissa. When it comes to her he’s still the same Ryan that got into the car with Trey, the same guy that attacked the water polo team rather then calling for help. When it’s about Marissa he hasn’t grown up at all and it’s showing more and more. She’s holding him back but he can’t seem to let her go.
