That was wonderful. I love the way that Helen just kind of stepped in and was graceful, but no nonsense about the parents needing to meet. It's clear that Griff and his mom are close and she wants him to be happy which means bringing Pete into the fold.

That's how Helen is, she knows she's going to get her way, no reason to hurt anyones feeling over it if she doesn't need to. And yes for the reason 4 Griff is a lot closer to his mother then father.
