What about Luz? Part One
Yes I did them out of order. Why, because of the order they were on my tape. So here it goes I hope you like it. And ones again this is for Rick Gomez and Luz fans. So if you’re after a full recap why are you here?
The show starts with Brian and his fiancé talking about some pact.
Then its two week earlier, the cast is talking about going to a movie and Luz is hiding drinks in his coat because of the outrages prices, as they are way too high. And who pays 12 an hour for a sitter, I reminder getting 3 any hour for 2 kids. One more kid and it jumps 9 bucks…did I get under paid?
And I like that it’s Luz that reminds the group that they have a 7th wheel. So cool even his grand kid never forgets a friend.
Then it’s Brian in a car and a car crash.
Skip forward 12 days and Brian, fiancé and the fiancée are talking about the crash and the girl he got from it. The girl is Kim the first Pink Ranger…yes I did watch that show.
Now it’s Brian talking to Luz about being in love with fiancée. As Brian rants Luz tries to talk him out of it with this whole lock the door and toss the key into the Indian Ocean…why the Indian Ocean you ask? …ask Luz.
Next it’s Brain and fiancé working on a car. Car Girl has a cameo and the pact is made…done here.
Brian/Car Girl, beds, freeways, break-ups and Ted Bundy. Enough said.
Luz starts the next part with hitting his foot and trying to get his wife in bed, but he it doesn’t work.
Then it a couple of Luz-less scenes so…pass on them.
Then Luz is grilling a looking all manly…nice…then Luz gives Brian more fiancée advice. Brian keeps going to Luz for that kind of stuff. Then they switch to work talk and not being sellouts or zombies because Luz is and always will be an independent…go Luz.
More Luz-less stuff as fiancée becomes the fiancée.
Luz with a baby and looking so cute and Luz did this great baby voice.
Then Brian and car girl fight as the rest watch and Luz and fiancé talk about the size of stuff. And then other stuff without Luz.
And now Luz is trying to cheer up Brian. Luz is real happy being a husband and father…good for him. But he does complain about the lack of sex. Six months…must be hard.
More other stuff…moving on.
Even more other stuff…this is old.
Yet more other stuff…boring.
What no Luz? Fast forward.
Luz’s wife at Yoga with some guy who isn’t Luz grabbing her butt.
Then she makes tea and she a Luz talk about their sex life and love. Then she is like lets have sex with other people…the look on Luz’s face should tell her that he isn’t for this, he does this blinking thing. They talk and he starts kissing her. He only wants one girl, lots of men but only one girl. But then a kid walks in and is like what is daddy doing, and they get all embarrass and Luz pulls his sweater jacket down low if you know what I mean…what do I mean?
Brian, fiancée, breaking and entering, other stuff…whatever.
At last we get to see Luz’s work place as he does this interactive thing with the background music that is so Luz…cool. Then he and Brian talk about fiancée again but then move onto Luz’s open marriage and scoping out a girl named Jimmy…right name at least.
Then we learn that Brian’s sister has lost her baby, this part is really sad. Her husband, the Model, shows up. I think I like them. 3 out of a cast of 7.
Then its Brian and the Love triangle…didn’t we get enough of this from that creek show?
Then it’s Luz telling his wife by way of the answering machine that he doesn’t want to do it and have it be just the two of them. But he gets home to find the kids, the message, and the sitter but no wife…this is when I started to really dislike her.
In the morning Luz is doing voices for the kids…so cool. Then the wife enters and says she was at Yoga with yoga ‘hands on butt’ Guy…the look on Luz’s face says it all people.
Then we get some non-Luz stuff and Brian gets a dog.
Last scene is everyone having lunch as fiancée set Brian up on a blind date with no way to get out…with friends like that.
