A couple of people have asked us this question, so we wanted to let you all know that there will be another round of the Perfect Paire Awards. Just not until next year.

After much discussion, we have decided to run this as an annual awards site. Round Two will take place after Season Two has ended ( Read more... )

If I may um...give a little bit of my two cents *looks around sheepishly* I once saw a Heroes Fic awards site, and I really liked some of the catagories on there. I was wondering if we could have some of them in the Paire Awards? Like "Best Nathan Cameo" (because there are a LOT of good Nathan characterizations in Paire-Fics that should be recognized too). The current catagories are great, but perhaps we should broaden the horizons a bit more than just genre, since our excellent Paire authors shine even more when it comes to the little things. =)

We are just focusing on Paire here, sorry. If we open it up to Best Nathan Cameo, then we'd have to open it up to all of the other characters too, and then we'd be getting too far away from our objective, which is to honor great Paire stories.

We will be adding a category for stories about Paire, but from another character's POV. We had already been planning on adding this category, but haven't had a chance to add it to the list of Categories yet.

Oh, that's not what I meant. *backtracks* I just meant that Nathan, who is sort of the barrier between Peter and Claire and often appears well characterized in Paire stories, might deserve a nod for his characterization. Not for stories soley about Nathan, of course, but for him as a background character to the Paire. HRG or Angela would also suffice, but not like Matt or Hiro, who aren't really significant in Paire. But whatever *waves white flag* It's your awards and you put what you'd like =)

That new category sounds really nice, though, just what I was asking about. There are SO MANY great stories for me to sort through for the "angst" category, but only a couple "different character POV" stories, which makes it much easier on your voters!
