We are giving out three awards per category. If there was a tie, there will only be a First and Second Place. If not, then there will be First, Second and Third Place awards given.

We are all SO awesome! All us nominees, all us winners, all us readers and voters (and let's face it, we came off best of all!) and ESPECIALLY the organisers *leads round of applause*

I was hoping to improve on my last round achievements... oh well *shrug* BUT I really think the fic I got nominated last year (Schroedinger's cat) was much better. And if you go over to paireawards and look at the other nominees? There is NO shame about losing this contest, believe me. This is one of the few contests where I can say 'it's an honour just to be nominated' and genuinely mean it.

Just something to think about while we wait around for s3. What about 'best crossover'? I know there isn't much out there, but you could have a more limited number of nomination slots, maybe? I say this because there's a FANTASTIC Firefly cross that I badly wanted to nominate last time, but ran out of appropriate categories, since they all filled up so fast.

Thank you for the suggestion, but a Best Crossover category wouldn't really fit in at our awards site. Crossovers very rarely feature a couple crossed into another show, despite the one you wished to nominate being a Paire fic. Since we are an awards site for Peter/Claire stories, it doesn't fit with our objective. However, crossovers are welcome in any of the other categories, provided Peter or Claire are not paired with any other characters as the primary pairing.
