I've enjoyed quite a few fun Halloweens in my life. It's kind of ironic that I really get into the holiday considering my upbringing. Well . . . I don't consider myself a Christian, but I celebrate Christmas because it's traditional, part of my upbringing. I have a Christian heritage, even if I am not a practicing member of the religion. I also like having a winter holiday and it seems silly to reach outside of my heritage. AND, even though I don't believe in Christ the Messiah, I do believe in Christ the Master.

I know I'm in the minority for my beliefs about non-Christians celebrating Christmas and Easter, but you know, you can celebrate any way you like :P It's more of a not understanding it than disagreeing with it.

I am going for the sexy librarian look today too what with a clingy wrap dress and heels :)

My mother, who does not sew, actually made me a prairie dress out of this lovely fabric...it was a dark red with little gold flowers and brown leaves/stems. It had a ruffle on the bottom and was ankle length. It also had a matching bonnet. I wore it with brown boots :)
