how can a short week feel so long?
It's only Wednesday? WTF? I think whenever Wade is in the middle of his seven night workweek, I am going to feel like it is the longest week ever. Maybe I will eventually get used to it, probably just in time for him to switch to a different shift. Jordan, my 8 year old, just scared the living shit out of me. He was starting to fall asleep after our walk to the school to play. three weeks to go....
Three weeks from right now hopefully we will be pulling into my parents' drive in good old Greencastle, Indiana. If we leave about 6 AM, we should get there around 6 PM, if we don't hit icky traffic. Besides attracting the attention of the UPS man (who almost walked into a wall staring at me the first time I saw him), I have also seen a particular university police officer make rounds in the library a little more frequently lately. one out of every three weekends...
...will be "normal" for us... meaning that Wade doesn't work. This is one of them and it's been so nice. I think having him gone six nights in a row has made me appreciate having him home that much more. Next week it will be the regular 7 nights that he works ( Read more... ) -

wrapping up April
This has been a very interesting month...to say the least. I've done a few things this month that I didn't know I would ever do. Beyond that it seemed that we tied up quite a few loose ends.
