I really enjoy black and white work. I think it challenges you to think about DoF and contrast in a way that you don't when you're working in color. (Speaking of, I was trying to "fave" a photo of yours, the one of the star-cutout candle holder by the window, but I couldn't find it on Flickr. Help?)
Also, working on true macro photos holds a whole other set of challenges, especially with a point-and-shoot camera.
I love your photos of ruins. They inspire me to go looking for urban decay, even in the cold.
I think I might steal your idea for a poll and ask this stuff about my own work...
