I know it's not the exact same... But a friend of mine was in a similar situation 2 years ago. We all thought we would lose him at first, but he pulled through and ended up forgetting some things. IE: He took up to AP Calculus with me and when he came out of the coma and recovered, he only remembered up to Algebra 1. There were other random things he forgot...

So what I'm saying is that it sounds like your brother will do okay. And that, even if he does forget some math, for example, he's alive. :)

that's promising news!! Thanks for the update... I'm glad to hear that he'll be alright. :)
