Obviously most of you are (well) aware of the situation, but we'll go over the facts just to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I'm good with anything- if Paixao moves, I'll jump with it. :)

I've had a little trouble keeping up with IJ in the past- I couldn't tell you why, exactly. Probably just because I wasn't used to it and didn't check it as often (since I only tried when I was trying to be in five different games at once). I do like the massive amount of icons thing. The communities confuse me a little bit, but again it's probably just needing to orient myself to the sit.

Dreamwidth I have less experience with, but the staff seems to have been very helpful during this whole ordeal. My bring problem with it is how much paid accounts are and that it's WAY more than I really need, and I don't like paying for things I don't need. Those are my two cents!

The Kris will go where Paixao goes! I am fine with either IJ or DW, I can get used to either one as long as we're all there and having fun. :'>

Honestly, I would, in the end, be happy with either site. The number of icons on IJ appeals to me, but DW seems like a better site overall...which is why it gets my final vote, but only by a hair. Unless things change on Livejournal very soon, though, a move may be the best step we can take.

Also, a thought - even if we choose to move to Insanejournal, could we still back up the comms on DW? I know the general consensus is that what we've already done on LJ isn't going anywhere, but I'd rather see that information backed up then regret it if something does go seriously wrong with LJ.

Right now, though, that's my (very brief) two cents on the issue. If I have any other thoughts, I'll add them!

I second this as well. As how things are right now, I really don't trust LJ as far as I can throw it. >>

tbh even if we did move to another site, I kinda think it should be done anyway. Just in case LJ does somehow completely explode in the future.

I agree with backing up on DW even if we move to IJ. If that's the case, maybe a mod could even back up our continued RPs on IJ, just in case?

Mmmm maybe? :Oa I'd hate to backup over there only to, you know, not use it. XD A better idea might be to backup via the LJArchive program, once they fix the comment issue. Hopefully that'll happen eventually. lol

But we shall see. :)

I don't think the data here is going anywhere. I mean, people have been trying to get them to purge never used accounts for SO long, and they still haven't even done THAT, so. lol

I'll follow Paixao wherever it goes, but I'd lean more towards DW over IJ, mostly since a lot of the other places I'm at are starting to look into DW as well and it would be a lot more convenient for me to deal with having them all in the same place. Also, I'm not sure if IJ will work with LJlogin and I know that DW wil.

Those icons have me totally sold. I know I'd have a lot of trouble with Kovu and Scar, at least, if I had to go back to 15. Quite frankly? I can't afford to spend money on RP. At all. Period. No exceptions aside from gifts to friends.

However, that said, I am not leaving this game. If that means DW, then that means DW. XD
