Obviously most of you are (well) aware of the situation, but we'll go over the facts just to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Communicating Rue's vote since she can't use the site anymore without changing browsers.

"It'd be ridiculously hard for me to go from Urd having nearly 200 icons for the last couple years to just 15. @_@ That being said, I don't want us to lose a single player and that seems to be the case if we move to IJ. So my vote is for Dreamwidth. I'd adjust...in the end, they're just icons."

I love you guys. Seriously, this is family, so, wherever the community wants to move, I'm there. I will find a way to keep my bazillion icons, somehow. Even if I have to hotlink them from LJ. XD ♥

I'm pretty new, but! I would be very keen on moving to DreamWidth. As far as I can tell, LJ is going to continue down the path of becoming completely unusable in terms of RolePlay. At least, it'd be like the attempts to roleplay on tumblr. I don't mind waiting, but I don't feel like I'll get the enjoyment out of using LJ as a website alone as these changes progress, so I see no reason to be overly attached to it ( ... )

After thinking for awhile, my vote goes to Dreamwidth .
It's more professional, clean looking and the "import" feature is truly useful. Also, its staff seems very supportive!

The "100 icons" of InsaneJournal are really tempting, but I've been using 15 icons all my life so... Also, in the demo the layout you made is so beautiful but when I switch to the comments page there's a 180 degrees difference (much bigger than Dreamwidth), it looks so inconsistent. Furthermore, there's the motif, I can understand why people are uncomfortable with it and we can't afford to lose any players because of the moving...
