The Doctor half-stumbled his way towards the church his younger self had mentioned, still disoriented, disheveled, and rather wanting more fish custard. Fish custard; that was new. Never wanted that one before, unless one counted that time on Skaro when - blimey. Was it always this off-putting when he regenerated? Well, he’d fainted outright the last time; at least this time it was just fish custard and walking into trees, which meant he was thankful this place didn't seem to have very many so far. And the chin! He didn’t know if he’d ever get used to that chin. Well, he’d have to check out the bone structure later, in case he needed a good shave, but not now; there was a mystery afoot.
Truth be told, he'd been having a bit of a rough time, lately. Between the end of time, the remnants of his race dying, and the violent regeneration, the newly-christened Eleventh Doctor was more than ready to fix his TARDIS as soon as possible and get out of here. Of course, it wasn't going to be that easy, according to his younger self - and if the Doctor knew anything, it was that he knew what he was talking about. There was also the fact that people needed help, and he wasn't about to walk away from that, no matter how irritable he might be at the time or how tired he was. The Time Lord pressed on, determined to make his way to the church (why a church? He'd never been particularly religious; there had to be something there, something important, even if it was privacy) - and there it was! After nearly an hour of walking about, following the map on his journal and muttering under his breath at useless bloody maps, he'd found it. The tall man looked about the place, walking around the outside (and it was so like him to be hanging around a creepy old building like this) until he managed to spot his younger self, leaning casually against the TARDIS.
"Oi!" he called, a grin on his face. "You there! The Doctor will see you now!"
