Character(s): Lightning, Osaka (and Cid I guess if he wants to observe and comment since they ARE by his shop)
Content: Time to teach Osaka how to wield a blade. Everyone, flee before something dies.
Setting: Outside Cid's shop
Time: Day, week 26, day after this
Warnings: Lightning's a grump. Osaka can't handle a blade.
Lightning hadn't really thought the whole thing through when she'd told Osaka to learn how to handle a blade, but once the words were out, she'd hoped she hadn't just volunteered herself to teach the girl. Unfortunately, it seemed she had. If Osaka hadn't reminded her of Hope a little bit, she would have told the kid to look for someone else. As it was, the day after they spoke, Lightning headed for Cid's shop, where they'd agreed to meet. Folding her arms over her chest, she leaned against the wall and waited.
If Osaka kept her waiting for long, she was going to be even grumpier than she normally was. It was bad enough that she was stuck in a place like this, but Hope had gone home recently - or so she assumed. It wasn't like him to disappear without a trace. He wasn't that good yet. Fortunately.
Lightning just wanted to get all of this over with. She was tired of being stuck here. So, she waited. She had a sword next to her, propped up against the wall as well, and a staff next to it. If she needed to, she'd use the knife she also had. That would do to start out with. All that was missing was Osaka... whoever she was and whatever she looked like.
