no, really. over. but i will chalk this affected uberqueen thing you do up to your youth and the fact that you can actually back up that sissy routine with a real talent. and you and chris worked great together- he needs your couture to counter that community theater thing he does.

*the mardi gras float was the only avant-garde thing I saw from ANY of the designers. Without it, I don't think it would've been dramatic.
*the coat was wonderful, I'll agree. Not much avante garde about a trench coat, though.
*I'm gonna miss Kit, too. My jaw literally dropped...i was left with a gaping mouth for a couple minutes...wondering how the hell Ricky could be kept yet once again, when it's obvious that he...isn't a very good designer. or sewer. He's a good cryer. And that's about it. What kind of dirt does he have on Heidi/The Weinsteins?
If Crybaby didn't get sent home, it should've been Rami. Yeah, Rami can drape, but Santino did it better. ;-)
*Yeah, they don't ask me first either.

need i remind you of the red godet in that "irma la douce" number a few episodes back? it's stage costuming, it's what he knows. it's not fashion.
that being said, i liked his sprouse knock-off last week. and i loved his first look, way back in the beginning. it's been downhill from there for me. and believe me, i don't want to like christian as much as i do. he's a twit. but a twit that TURNS IT OUT, AND QUICKLY.
re: the other winning team: it was the cut of the trench that made it edgy- and while i think tartan taffeta is nobody's avant garde, it was when westwood did it, and there's some residual edge left over from that. it's like corsets on the runway. sure, it's tired, but when mugler and gaultier did it is wasn't, and that's what lodges in your consciousness.
p.s. I HATE RICKY.
