while i'm upset/frustrated/saddened by the bombing in london and the over 50 lives lost, it is interesting to note that since june 28, 2004, over 2,000 people have been killed in Iraq by car bombs alone (480 of them). of course, it's very different - there is no war going on in london, and, of course, london is much closer to the united states
