The conservation site I was at today is called The Orchards.  There were a lot of damsons, quite a few blackberries, some redcurrants and raspberries ripe around the site. I took an ice-cream tub with me and filled it up with a mix of 'almost' ripe fruit. It is stupidly early in the season and I was picking while scything so didn't have a lot of
