1st of July
Not the greatest start of my summer holidays, not passing my year, and frantically attempting to convince my parents to let me spend next year at some drill school, but they won’t let me, because they care about my boyfriend, social life and the fact that I would have so much homework.
… Aren’t I supposed to be the one worrying about that?

Still in a mood of overall gloom because of me having to double my 5th year here, but after I dismissed Sil because of the company I would be (not much of a…), I decided to stalk Hanna with my general downpour instead.
Yay, she didn’t mind - we ate B&J’s (the solution to every girl’s problem, if you ask me) and when Evelien came over we watched OotP because it’s lovely. I can’t wait until HBP, by the way, it’s been so long since I’ve had me a Harry Potter fix.
Also, I watched some more How I Met Your Mother and read Living Dead in Dallas, because I’m obsessed with both HIMYM and True Blood.

I didn’t do much today - I cleaned out my entire room, though, even though it took me forever, and it looks… err, exactly the same, but with less papers flung randomly over my desk/floor (actually, I’m not a very good teenager by definition - there isn’t usually anything on my floor at all, because it makes me nervy).
Sil came over post-sports day (I played hooky, really couldn’t bring it up to get a nice sunburn with 30 degrees Celcius while running after a baseball or something. I’m mental, but not that mental) which was fun because I hadn’t seen him much the day before (my fault entirely).
He left then, after which my mum came home, and I finished Living Dead in Dallas in the backyard. I cannot recall what I did after - oh yeah, how can I forget, How I met your mother!
Hee, hee.
4th of July
Oh, looking at the date now, I totally forgot it was Independence Day - well, I didn’t see my boyfriend so I was a very, very independent woman yesterday - Firstly, I walked my paper round, of course, like every day minus Sunday, and I went back to sleep until like 11:30, because I’d missed out on my precious hours the night before, finishing New Moon. I’m rereading the Twilight series. Maybe I’ll make it a summer thing. Just like you’re supposed to watch Lord of the Rings at least every year, although I cannot even start to compare LotR to Twilight because Stephenie Meyer’s vampire world would pale in comparison to the mesmerizing beau monde that is Middle-Earth.
Afterwards, I called Sven right before he had a chance to call me, and we decided on when to go to Vlissingen (in 20 minutes, even though I wasn’t dressed yet, because Sven doesn’t care that it takes me at least 3 hours to look comparatively presentable).
I had a really nice day! We mostly walked through Vlissingen and ate through its eating supplies, hah. I had far too much ice cream etc. but that’s okay, I guess, it wás a Sa’urday. I got a little tan on my legs from being in the sun all day, and we talked a lot. The whole point of the day was going to see Kids Never Lie, Sven’s all-time favourite Zeeuwse electro-band (not very hard, considering there’s a total of maybe three in our o so cultivated province).
We went to the movies around 19:15 (post-Sven’s iced coffee, which was actually called Sven’s iced coffee so naturally we had to buy one), and saw the Hangover. Very funny! All the tits-&-fuck humour that occupies my mind so very much.
Kids Never Lie weren’t at their best, possibly due to the fact that their ‘mysterious’ show was in broad daylight (o damn you, summer, where’d winter’s magic go?!), and the audience existed out of *dum dum dum* maybe 25 people. And a dog.
Afterwards, we just walked back to the station and had to wait for our train for another 45 minutes but that’s okay ‘cause we listened to music and that’s all you should do at that time when awaiting public service to take you out of a shithole. They actually locked the station before the train even got there. Eep?
I remember Nouk and I in the same train at the same time when we’d gone to the movies as well, haha, and doing the exact same thing, and with Hanna I have as well. When escaping Vlissingen, listen to music to remind yourself that there is a World out there!

I woke up a coupla hours ago, and I have yet to decide what I’m going to do this afternoon, but I think we’re having dinner outdoors today, and I’m going to watch Cloverfield with Hanna tonight - eep, wish me luck! I just HAD a spooky-film nightmare just this night, so I hope it’s not that scary.
