So in my pointless effort to learn Norwegian, I bought a translated copy of the first Harry Potter book. But this list is funny! Translation (or the lack thereof) is a wonderful thing. There are so many brilliant examples:

Can't you just see a short, fat, vaguely Viking-looking person waving a leg of mutton instead of a warhammer from the prow of his longboat? I know, I know... stereotyping and such. It's just what popped into my head as I read it, and I giggled aloud at the picture.
