The Palace is divided up into three main parts: the casino, the concourse, and the hotel.
The casino boasts every betting opportunity you would expect from a premiere casino: bingo, poker, the full gamut of table games, keno, slots and video poker machines, and a race and sports book. Naturally drinks and hors d’oeuvres are passed by servers so that guests can fulfill those needs without having to leave their game.
In addition to betting areas, The Palace Casino offers a dance club, an entertainment club, and a private, members-only club. Other services in the casino include a buffet style restaurant, a choice of sit down restaurants offering a variety of food types, a sports bar, a full-service bar, and a cocktail lounge with nightly entertainment.
In the concourse connecting the casino and hotel you’ll find several restaurants, a wine bar, a shopping center with a number of storefronts displaying, amongst other things, clothes, jewelry, shoes, handbags, candy, and candles. There are also a newsstand and a convenience store and ATMs from a number of major banks line one hallway.
There are two entertainment venues: a nightclub, which is open from 6 pm to 4 am, and a concert and show venue, which hosts concerts, variety acts, comedy shows, and the occasional drag show.
The hotel offers rooms and suites for most budgets, with standard accommodations typically starting at $49 per night and luxury suites going for up to $1000 per night. Of the hotel’s 190 per-night guest rooms, there are 100 standard rooms, 50 deluxe rooms, 25 standard suites, and 15 luxury suites.
For the long-term guest, there are 8 luxurious residential suites in the hotel, and one dozen cottages on site. Prices vary by cottage type, but typically rent for $500 to $900 per week; monthly rates are available as well.
A 24 hour kitchen provides room service and cooks for the two restaurants located within the hotel. Guests and visitors alike can utilize the salon and day spa. There are also meeting and conference rooms available for rental, and three ballrooms suitable for parties or weddings.
Free shuttle service to and from the airport, local beaches, and the Steel Pier is offered and a chauffeured luxury vehicles and limousines are available for hire as well.
A team of concierges is on duty 24 hours a day to assist hotel guests and casino patrons with virtually any need or desire. The concierge team is made up of highly experienced, educated, and (perhaps most importantly) discreet individuals who have shown an ability to achieve the impossible. Whether it’s a task as simple as mending a ripped seam or sending a fax to the more daunting tasks of obtaining tickets to a sold out event or reservations at an exclusive restaurant, to the illegal-obtaining drugs or “escorts”, the staff does it well, and does it quietly.
