wikia Personality: Yulie is a kind-hearted girl with a dark past, who wants to help others, and to protect rather than be protected. Despite growing up constantly being subject to painful experiments, Yulie is a sweet girl, though tends to be overly apologetic at first, blaming herself for when things go wrong, believing that they're happening due to her. As a result of experimentation done on her as a child, Yulie had her DNA altered in order to attempt to turn her into a Gene Driver, and was more or less treated as a tool of destruction, and even dehumanized as a child, referred to only by her code, WG920B+. She hated this ability, but eventually came to the decision that she would sacrifice herself for the sake of others; Yulie would learn how to use this ability in the way the scientists wanted, so that she could prevent other children from being subjected to it.
Perhaps also because of her past, Yulie doesn't like to get others involved in her own troubles. She's hesitant to tell Jude much of anything at first, because, as she warns, he'll have to keep running from the adults, who seek her (and Jude's) power, and she doesn't want to subject anyone else to that kind of life. That said, she does eventually lead the party to the White Orphanage, where she grew up, and where she had been subjected to those painful experiments, to allow them to get an idea for themselves as to what Jude's power is, rather than telling them herself.
Part of Yulie's desire to help others also comes from the years she spent with her foster father, after being released from the orphanage, where she lived in an abbey and learned how to use her powers to heal and exorcise. This is where she basically became a Paladienne, or a type of Crest Sorcerer. Still, the painful memories of living in the orphanage could never be erased from her heart, and she continued to harbor fear about her powers in the past, deep inside. Despite the wanting to help others, she belives that her power brings nothing but pain and suffering, and can't bring herself to accept it like Jude has. Eventually, though, she learns to stop running from her fears, and to only want to use her power to better the world, and to transform hope into reality.
The most important person to Yulie is her older brother, Kresnik, who is also the only family she knows. When he left to join Brionac, she was devastated, despite him telling her not to cry. Despite having not seen him in years, she worries over him constantly, especially when she finds out that he has to take pills to prevent a Resistance Impulse when he uses his ARM. However, Yulie, when faced with the choice, refuses to go along with him back to Brionac when he asks her, as he's not doing it for his own sake, as much as because he's following orders. Of course, even despite this, Yulie has a lot of faith in her older brother, and that he'll protect and watch over her, to the point where she eventually does turn herself over to Brionac. The two also have a song that Yulie sings whenever she is scared, or whenever she's not sure if she's talking to her brother or not.
Powers & Abilities: Yulie is an artificial Gene Driver, though she doesn't have the ability to control ARMs directly. Rather, she can manipulate nanomachines, both consciously and subconsciously, shaping them to her will.
Yulie is also a Paladienne, and can heal people and exorcise undead spirits. Her special ability, Material (Guardian Drive), allows her to use the device she wears on her wrist to summon one of five Guardians, depending on the element of the hex.
What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? Her twin chakram, and the clothes on her back.

Third-Person Sample: Although she wanted to help others, Yulie didn't like getting them involved in her own troubles. So when Jude promised to protect her, she felt guilty, inwardly, for dragging him into the mess she was in, even though he had been the one to make the decision. He was so... innocent, and Yulie hated to think that he would end up like her, always on the run from the adults, who wanted her power, who subjected her to those painful experiments when she was younger.
At the same time, though, she admired how far he was willing to go for her, for someone he hardly knew. She hadn't asked for his help, hadn't asked him to get involved, but here he was, anyway, going to great lengths just to protect her. In a way, it made her think of her older brother, Kresnik, the only family she had ever known. Back then, in the White Orphanage where she grew up, he had promised to protect her, though she hadn't wanted him to leave, when he left to join Brionac. Even though they were apart now, he was still there for her, in a way, even if she still felt alone without his presence. In that sense, having Jude around made her feel a little less lonely, and more hopeful that she could use her power for the better good.
But could they accomplish this together? Yulie didn't fully understand her powers, still, nor did she entirely know what Jude could do, but she really wanted to believe that together, they could. No one should have to suffer anymore; that was what she had felt as a child, and that was what she still felt now. If they could find peace, if they could bring an end to the hardships and pain, then maybe, Yulie would feel she had done something right.
First-Person Sample: [When the feed switches on, there's the soft strains of a young girl singing, as she cautiously walks down the streets. She doesn't actually realize it's on at first, though she had been in the process of switching it on.]
Let's make a promise here and now, walking together hand touching hand... Let's make a promise, make it true, never again to cry alone... Oh, is it on? I'm sorry, I didn't realize...
The note said to use this, but... I'm not really sure where I am. Is there anyone that could tell me...? I think I've gotten separated from my friends, too... Kresnik, what should I do? I'm not sure...
