Mirror Mirror, Character Advice

So I had a great time at Mirror Mirror. Liu, my character, was originally a PC in a one on one fantasy game which never concluded, and then progressed onwards to become a key “NPC” in my Dreadfall campaign, which had a number of characters I created with deep backgrounds and histories. I enjoyed playing Liu originally, so it was nice to be able ( Read more... )

First, Skirmisher has a couple "get back home" skills, which may help - but an extra armor and extra vitality are never bad. Frankly, nobody knows what your specialties are, so you never need to call yourself a Champion, or RP like a tank, or whatever. Seriously, Fox is a Bruiser. See him standing in a line with a board?

As for the rest, honestly, practice a lot and see where you stand in a month and see how it goes - otherwise, you really need the character skills as a stopgap. Heck, even with a lot of practice and weapon skills, they'll help.

Also, accept the possibility of death the moment you take one of those flanking runs. ;)

On Skirmisher, this is true, and I'm giving it some consideration. I had no idea Fox was a bruiser though. :-)

I'll be fighting two weapon at Endgame now, so I hope to be gaining more experience in that style and improving. Really, I also need to be doing some cardio, but school is sadly leaving me with a lot less time and energy for such things then work, so its not going to be easy.

As for the death part - Yes, but I dont want to make a habit of it, and am trying to plan my build ahead of time to minimize the risk.

Thus proving my point there pretty well. ;)

I suppose that at Madrigal, any time you're out thugging, you should be doing it with two long weapons, too. It's more practice!

I do more often then not at Madrigal, but it's very different on the NPC side.
