I pondered on the way to work today that I am indeed getting old. And with age comes reflection. I looked back on my life and tried to figure out what it means and I suddenly realized something. Our lives should be judged on what we did for other people and things. Instead of looking back on our "accomplishments", which are nothing but self serving

I'm glad you put this up. This has been on my mind lately. I was thinking that I need to look less for the reward in life and more of the reward I grant myself. Such as helping out others who turn around and stab me right in the back. Yes it is awful, but it happen to so many of us. And I can be proud in myself that I did the right thing and I keep my principles.

I hope that every day I can make something better for one person. Smile at someone, send a good message, help someone in need.

But it would be nice to think once I'm worm bait, the place will somehow be just a LITTLE bit better than it was before I came along.

HID says no but most of us say yes. :-P
