Since the beginning of this year, I found some rather interesting reading materials at the local Kinokuniya that brought much amusement and joy, so I thought I'd share the titles so you folks could go check it out if you haven't already found them on the shelves ( Read more... )

i would love to try to read ... but....the language /cry

isit like those small bks with the kanji printed in vertical?

Yes, its those vertical ones...

But hey, you wrote quite abit of Japanese while you were playing the game, I am sure you can handle it. I always find comics particularly useful when it comes to learning a language, sorta like a learning aid, hehe... And these ones are better than those violence comics where words like 死ねええええ or other interestingly obscene words won't get you a minute worth of conversation with a Japanese.

yeah. mangas and animes are my source of jp study ^^*

but my kanji(and chinese) suxs though
tats y i'll always have problems reading those kanji without furigana at the side.
itz either u noe or dunno... which is the latter in most cases ^^;

hope i can pass jlpt2 this yr (≧▽≦)

Goodness! You are taking JLPT 2??? You are better than what you claim! I can't even pass JLPT 3!!! Than again, I was 14 when I first took it.... Can't bear the thought of signing up for it again, cos I am absolutely terrified of tests! ( ^-^;) As far as I am concern, I had my share of them since I finished uni, NO MORE! Lol.

Anyways, 高木直子's books has been translated into Chinese for the Taiwanese market, available here in Singapore too!
