Logged about 12 hours yesterday, I agree this is one of the biggest single player FF so far. The license growth chart is very similar to the system in X actually, if anything they simplified it. However, having to use LP just to equip a weapon or armor kinda sucks, and the way the system forces you to waste points to acquire licenses you don't want/need just to open up the more "advanced" licenses is also not very cool. The rest is awesome though.

Agreed on the need to exchange points for licenses just to wear an amoured undie or wield a stick. That was quite tedious. What I didn't like are those special skills license squares. You don't know just what it does or is it suitable for that character. Because once you hit it, that skill won't appear for the next character.

But so far, I am most impressed with the Gambit system, after abit of twitching before each area, you could almost smoothly take on everything in sight without having to punch the たたかうbuttom. And the new battle system is very good, It feels more natural, a bridging of the Japanese and American RPGs...except maybe for those colored curves...

To date, finished 6 bounties (Wynn Lord was quite a fight) and 20 hours into the game.

Making money for the game is tedious though...

This is kinda hard to read, but it identifies a lot of the abilities:

Hopefully in a week or so can find one that's a little more reader-friendly.

Very much appreciated! That helps lots!

Just fought the toad モブ, really tough that one!

One thing nice about it, is that you can literally go anywhere in this game, either by renting a choco or taking the airshps. Truly a sense of freedom than compared to FFX. I got lost trying to get to the next story area, and discovering just how big this game truly is!
