noodling

I'm taking a course on folklore and folklife this semester, and we just read a story about noodling. The more you read about the not-so-common things that people do, the more you see where Chuck gets his inspiration. Basically, these people fish for catfish by shoving their arms into holes and hoping that a catfish will bite them ( Read more... )

There was an episode of Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel where Mike did that down in alabama or florida.

A couple of days ago i saw a seven minute long video that turned my stomach. A man posted it showing him swinging a baby that might have been one year old if that. he begang by holding the child by both arms and swinging it very high, then he lets go of one arm and the baby begins twisting around in circles, and it appears that the childs arm will come loose from the shoulder soccet at any moment. then the man holds the baby by its ankles and swings it up high and then low and then high and then low and it continues on for awhile like that, the whole time the baby is crying and it's face is turning blood red from the blood rushing to its head. then the man sets it down only for a few seconds, and the baby is still crying and is so dizzy it can't walk strait. then he takes the babies hands and jerks its arms so hard that it does a back flip the he jerks them again and it does a front flip and he continues that for the rest of the video. this makes me sick and i wish that man would be aressted for child abuse because that was sheer ( ... )
