I love the poster art and have to admit that 'Invisible Monsters' is my favorite of Chuck's books ... But ...

If I'm making the correct assumptions about casting (Biel as Shannon, Cruddup as Brandy/Shane, Kilmer as Manus and Posey as Evie), then I fear I may be disappointed. I kind of had a much more interesting cast in mind (but then didn't we all?).

In my little fantasy of the film, the Gyllenhaal siblings (Jake and Maggie) would play sister and brother/sister since they are really brother and sister in real life (it makes sense in my head and here's why ... ). It's stated in the book that Shane and Shannon looked very much alike and when Shane became Brandy, he looked like Shannon used to look before birds ate her face. It's just me logical connection. *shrugs*

Posey might not be so bad at playing Evie, though.

Now about those Rhea Sisters ...

i'd love to see christian bale in a film adaption of one of palahniuk's book .. don't know why. well, he's my favorite actor, but the books have really cruel and honest aspects, and that sort of reminds me of ellis' 'american psycho' ..

twisted thoughts ;)

I would love Invisible Monsters to be a movie, as long as they didn't fuck it up and it'd be as good as Fight Club was a movie. But who knows. I love that cover btw and wish they'd use that for the book cause it rocks.
