Cincinnati Police to the rescue!

I am vexed. I am terribly vexed. And I'm glad I'm not a resident of the 'Nati proper, because I think I would have to cut into my free time to bitch to someone about this.

In other news, I am still vexed.

But hey! At least Corey Dillon had a shitty night. That's good right? Silver lining? Anyone?

Anyhow.

vexed? at the "shoot first and ask questions later" police force of ours? Isn't this the same police that decided it may be a good idea to strategically place snipers around town to cut down on jaywalking?

you and your silver lining can take a hike, my friend. Dillon had a bad night but he still took one over the line. Oakland blew their wad in the first three minutes of the game and went limp from there. Brady looked like he forgot to put in his contacts in in the first drive, but after that, well, they're 1-0. but then again, they did open against OAKLAND. we'll see how this pans out.

Dillon took two in. Sure he was short on yards, but I hardly call that a shitty night.

I don't see a problem with it at all. They warned her, she didn't comply. Thats about the time I would bring out my weaponry.

That's kind of where I stand on it. I mean, I think it's pretty ridiculous that they even had to threaten her with a taser (I mean, other means weren't working?? Like, handcuffing her at the very least?) but if I were being disruptive and a cop told me to cut that out or my ass would get tasered, you'd better believe I'd comply because cops don't fuck around with that shit.

Plus, we weren't there to witness what happened. The article did not go into detail, and with the way the world is now, with kids in gradeschool shooting and killing others and having access to guns, well, anything's possible. I'd imagine being a cop is an extremely high-tension job where your life can be literally on the line... I know Cincy has a shitty reputation when it comes to our cops, but really... If a cop says s/he's going to use force on you, don't be surprised that it'll happen if you don't comply.
