I really liked that a lot. I'm not sure what else I could say. Thank you for writing it.

Also, I knew that there was bullying, but I didn't know how bad it was. Why would someone want to destroy a stranger's life? (Do we know if she's ok? Poor thing.)

these were all separate incidences and I honestly don't know, unfortunately.

i think technology has led too much of a hand in harassing people, not just lolitas. :/ my dad and i wonder all the time why people are so crappy these days.

I realize how much I changed since I started with lolita. I was an ita, I was elitist and now I am...myself. trying to be friendly and helpful and causing a lot of drama with this behaviour. I wonder why...

it reminds me of a Douglas Adams quote, 'where a very nice man got nailed to some wood for suggesting that wouldn't it be nice if we all tried to be nice to each other, for a change'. or something to that effect.

I agree with the sentiment that lolitas shouldn't be constantly pitted against each other or bullying each other, but most of the lolita drama I see around me (or have experienced personally) has little or nothing to do with the clothes. ;o; It's just people behaving in an immature way to their friends, but both parties happen to wear lolita fashion. Idk. After coming back from the West Coast, I get the feeling that there's more cliques and fighting happening here on the East Coast.
