I'm going to visit Paducah this weekend. Started going through my writing, and I think I am deciding that I will go someplace cheap and work on the writing for awhile. Grad school is seeming like less of a good idea, though I'll probably still apply to: UIC, U Denver and University of Missouri. I'm thinking more of holing up somewhere and working

Loved your descriptions. So many from nature. The after-rain smell is particularly wonderful in the Midwest. And the ocean--Pt. Lobos for me with the ocean and the sage together.
Have fun in Paducah. I've always loved the sound of the name.
