i don't understand the debatability of apostrophe use, but hyphens? yeah. gotcha. i recently thought a while to myself before deciding *not* to hyphenate the following: 'long forgotten' and 'next door' (as in, neighbor). however, i did hyphenate on 'mud-covered,' 'medium-sized,' and even 'self-respecting.' i was wrong, wasn't i? i imagine i could get into a nasty discussion with someone about comma usage (when to, when not to). hmm. patheticness.
i miss you!! :-( do you think you're going to stay in LA for at least several more years? b/c to me, that would be one of the (few?) attractions of going back.
you weren't wrong. the answer is (always): it depends.
i don't know about l.a. some days i'm ready to leave. most days i'm too lazy. at least come visit now and then. or move somewhere cool so i'll have a place to stay when i visit. :)
