"I guess first we should decide where to put the tank before filling it huh?"
Vesper picked it up off the floor and looked around.
"Maybe by the window? Or would that be bad for them? Would that be bad for them?"
He was questioning himself. He knew he should have done some more reading on fish but Vesper would just get lost at looking at all the different kinds of fish.
Near the window looked like a good spot, so far as Midnight was concerned.
"The top of the aquarium has a light built into it, so I don't think that light would hurt them. We would probably want to watch the temperature of the water, though ..."
The only reason that Midnight didn't get distracted by all the fish, was that he'd already spent days doing exactly that.
It took some time but eventually the tank was filled with water. Taking extra care so not to splash it around and cause items to tumble over. Some things did move but they were able to adjust them back with ease.
It was finally starting to look like a good home for fishes.
Once they had the water in, it was time for the heater and filter; Midnight handed the heater to Vesper for attachment to the side of the tank, while he poked and prodded the charcoal and such into the filter.
And then it was plant time! 'Armed' with bundles of clinging water-plants, Midnight smiled with amusement as he prepared to go arm-deep into the tank.
The bag in question -- once Vesper let go of it -- bobbed cheerfully in the water, just peeking out of the surface. The fish inside made confused darting motions and bumped their faces against the plastic.
"Just like that, yes. We can just open them up and pour them out, carefully, after they've been floating for a while."

Once satisfied, he turned to Midnight and smiled.
"Landscaping?"

Smiling back at Vesper, Midnight turned away briefly to survey the assorted aquarium-accessories; then he eyed the aquarium consideringly.
"Maybe the gravel and the bigger ornaments, and then the water?"
"I don't know if pouring the water in would knock anything over or not, but the plants probably wouldn't like it. We could put them in afterwards."

"I like it. Now, if we can get the water in without anything moving ..."
"Hm. What do you think, if we made the plants thicker at either end, and just scattered them where the stones and things are?"

"I like that idea."

"I think this is likely to need both of us --"

"I don't know," He teased, "I think you could do it."
Even so, Vesper did move to help out Midnight some with the plants and securing them around the tank. It was just fun to tease.

Vesper took another bag and studied it for a moment. There was some hesitation before he carefully set it into the fish tank.
"Just set them in like this?"

"What should we do until then?"

Looking like he was floundering a little, Midnight glanced towards Vesper through his bangs.
"Is there anything you would like?"
