I haven't seen the movie (and won't: loud and violent is what I hear tell) but the minute it appeared everyone and his brother was writing Inception slash.

But do you want to wade through the dreck of ffnet to get your fix?

Precisely. I gave up. I decided Eames X Arthur is much more charming if I just let them remain in my imagination. Also this movie is kind of like Temeraire. It doesn't have heft. And I imagine it would simply collapse under that mountain of slash. I might wait to see if the Chinese fandom produce something though.

Oh thank you thank you. Amuse-bouche is exactly what I want for Eames/Arthur. My sense is that Inception won't hold up to a five-course slow food meal, being also a kind of amuse-bouche, but in the way of American food turned into entree. In fact I thought that little short story you wrote a long time ago, about the bloggers in their little bubbles, had a lot more heft and possibilities.
