Yes, but it's all yours, which condos are not. Condos are the worst of all worlds-- as expensive as renting, smaller than houses, subject to arbitrary price raises, and with limitations on what you can do with them. Including neglecting the yard and the roof and the eavestroughing...

yes the eavestroughing, (known as gutter in these uncouth parts), I had an indepth crash course in them as well as drainage management - how do you ever manage to deal with them? to me they're quite terrifying

One eventually learns to get the gutters covered with leaf guard mesh. (If a gutter hangs on your house, what do you call the edge of the road that abuts the sidewalk, where the storm drains are?) Otherwise you pay every year to have them cleaned and/or rehung once the squirrels have finished bouncing around in them.

Drainage management around here used to be 'downspouts empty into city's sewer system.' Now one has the downspouts disconnected and trained away from foundations. I did that the same time I had the gutters covered ie twenty-two years after I moved in.
