In honor of getting a fancy new phone(a nexus 6 which is about the size of a paperback), here are some pictures of my garden.
Last year i got a dwarf pomegranate but it was very small and did not survive the winter. This year
I finally got a full sized wonderful pomegranate and planted it in a pot, they say it doesnt set fruit this far north, but we used to keep them in beijing, and i dont remember them not setting fruit, though that might be a different variety.
Zucchini were really doing well and i way underestimated the size,
Also tomatos, wjich have become giant 8ft monstrosities
I should also write about central ballet of china's peony pavilion, which i went to see at wolftrap. But that will be for another day.
