Well, let me back up just a moment. I purchased a can of organic coconut milk from Whole Foods (among other things) but I also found its non-organic counter part for sale at my local Jewel for approximately the same price, which is nice. I've since been ingesting small amounts of this coconut milk -- in smoothies.

That smoothie still probably wasn't enough calories, and almost all of those calories are fast burning from sugars, so it's no surprise you were hungry 1.5 hours after finishing it. Protein and fat will keep you filled up for longer than sugars.

Hi there - I have been suffering from cravings (for sweet things) for more than a week - they are driving me nuts :-) I'll try a smoothie tomorrow, for brekkie. I have bananas, coconut milk and plenty of eggs (chooks have finally started to lay) so I'll try that and see how I go. Will report back tomorrow. Cheerio!
