I hadn't seen the movie in years and years, and my mind kept going to the Cyrano story so I was afraid for awhile that there might be a tragic ending, but eventually I realized that it was going to be romcom through to the end.
I really enjoyed your depiction of Cameron, probably because I'm not a big Cam fan. I find him a bit bland for the SG universe, so I was greatly amused by your rendition of a wonderfully shallow but well meaning and stupid puppy boy. I hope he's happy in Tahoe, and I actually loved his last letter to Rodney... that he met someone and he doesn't feel sick when he talks to her.
I liked your John too. Especially when he was climbing up to Rodney's attic window, and his other Spider-man type feats.
I'd like to know where that picture of Rodney is from. It looks like season 1. Would you let me know where to find it online? I'm working on a project and that might be the photo that works with it.

I thought I'd just find the image and give you the url but took me ages. Its from the 2003 promo shots but I can't find it anywhere except on Gateworld by putting 'Rodney McKay, 2010' in google image search and then copying image to drive without following link. Hopes that helps.
I've only seen bits and pieces of the film, but this was hilarious and amazing :P Cameron and his...simplicity made me laugh out loud, though it makes me sad that Rodney did, in fact, sleep with Cameron. (I'm ferociously protective of my OTP.)
I'm so glad the boys got over everything and managed to get their happy ending. They deserve one :D

The idea of giving John the scar instead of a long nose works really well. Actually, your John is really adorable, scar and all. I think I might keep him for myself ;-)
