This is so sweet and lovely! I love (and agree with) the explanation for why people thought his model didn't function the way they intended, and I love that John knows that Dorian knows how to push his buttons but that it works anyway.

So chuffed you liked it and agreed with my reasoning. I love watching Dorian run straight through John's walls every single time. LOL. I rewatched all the eps at the weekend and realised that Rudy more or less says the same thing about the DRN's in Ep1 so it must have just stuck with me.

I'm intrigued by Captain's phrase 'Dorian is special' and 'Same as you' - so intrigued to know if there is history, or if it's just her observation that Dorian is more human that bot.
